Active mobility: Moving together safely

In the bustling Vague à Guy area, where cyclists, pedestrians, joggers, and surfers cross paths every day, we recently implemented a concrete measure to improve coexistence and ensure everyone’s safety.

Following concerns expressed by citizens, speed bumps have been installed in the center of the path to encourage cyclists to reduce their speed in this shared area.

This intervention demonstrates our commitment to responding quickly and effectively to the needs expressed by the public. It reflects our commitment to promoting active and safe mobility, fostering respect among all users of public spaces, and creating accessible, inclusive, and harmonious living environments for the entire community.

We would like to extend our warmest thanks to the teams at the Borough of LaSalle for their work in the field, as well as to the citizens who contributed to this improvement through their mobilization.

As a TEAM, we are making LaSalle a place where it is good to live, move around, and coexist in complete safety.
