Bisma Ansari has been a proud resident of LaSalle for many years, where she lives, raises her children, and actively contributes to her community. With more than 20 years of executive leadership at Mattel—including her most recent role as Senior Vice President overseeing global brand strategy and innovation—she brings extensive experience in business, strategy, and organizational growth.
Earlier this year, Bisma ran in the 2025 federal election for LaSalle–Émard–Verdun. This experience opened her eyes to the real impact that local leadership can have. It deepened her commitment to public service, sharpened her understanding of the issues that matter most to families, and highlighted the power of community-driven change. Inspired by this journey, she is now stepping forward to serve her borough as part of Équipe LaSalle.
Bisma continues to strengthen her community through her roles as President of the Batshaw Foundation, Board Member of NANUK, and Board Member of Heritage Laurentien. In addition, she provides consulting support to local companies ready to grow globally, activates innovative projects for non-profits, and helps founders bring bold ideas to life.
Aligned with the vision of Nancy Blanchet and Équipe LaSalle’s community-first values, her priorities are close to home: protecting green spaces and parks, supporting multi-generational and multicultural needs—from early childhood to elder care—and fostering inclusive, family-friendly programs. She believes in open, values-led leadership that celebrates LaSalle’s diversity and strengthens connections across all communities.
