Daniela Romano

Borough Councilor

A resident of LaSalle since birth, Daniela Romano was positively influenced by her father, a man who has been active in the community for as long as she can remember, an example that drives her to get involved in improving the life of her neighborhood.

After graduating in 2000 with a CEGEP diploma in social sciences, she went on to study psychology at Concordia University.

Having studied and worked in LaSalle all her life, except for a short period when she lived abroad, Ms. Romano is very well familiar with the LaSalle community and its needs and expectations.

Well established in LaSalle, her community, Ms. Romano has been involved with many local organizations, including her parish, the LaSalle Hospital Foundation and the CHSLD LaSalle Residents’ Committee, as well as with seniors’ associations and Italian associations. She has also acted as honorary president of several charitable events in the LaSalle community.

Trilingual, Daniela Romano has a great facility for creating contacts and rallying people to a cause, qualities that she wishes to put forward as a representative of the Borough’s citizens.

Having become a mother 6 years ago, she is particularly interested in family issues. Community activities, parks, swimming pools, recreation, culture and daycares, in short, everything that can facilitate and enhance the daily life and quality of life of families, are the themes she wishes to support on Borough Council.
