Michel Noël

Borough Councilor

A LaSalle resident who grew up and completed all of his education, from elementary to college, here, Michel Noël is undoubtedly a proud LaSalle resident at heart. As a youngster, he participated in several sports in LaSalle, including ice hockey, baseball and football.

He later became involved as a volunteer in minor hockey and baseball. He was Manager and Assistant Coach of the Cégep André-Laurendeau AA collegiate hockey team Les Titans, Coach of the LaSalle Cyclones, a grade 3 Bantam AA minor hockey team and Coach of the LaSalle Cardinaux, a Baseball Midget AA team, while also handling public relations for the LaSalle Baseball Association.

He has been involved in charitable organizations in the borough, among others, the Knights of Columbus and the Club Richelieu LaSalle for 26 years.

After studying marketing at Cégep André-Laurendeau, he began a career in real estate, obtaining his real estate license from the Montreal Real Estate Board in 1984. In 1987, he managed the company Les Immeubles Élégant Inc. before obtaining his general contractor’s license in residential and commercial construction from the Régie des entreprises de la construction in 1989 and opening his own construction company, Residential Créa-9 Construction.

Renewing with his interest in marketing, Mr. Noël then joined the team of Le Messager de LaSalle as a Multimedia Representative, a position he held for 29 years.

Father of two boys, Michel Noël believes that public involvement is important and is running in the November election in order to actively take part in and contribute to the life of his neighbourhood. He intends to be attentive to the needs of his fellow citizens and to support the projects and issues that are important to them.
