LaSalle: Winner at the Montreal Podium Gala.

On Thursday, November 28, at the Gala Podium Montréal, the Borough of LaSalle distinguished itself by winning honors in the “Borough or Related City” category.

This event, organized by the Conseil du sport de Montréal, aims to recognize and celebrate the initiatives of the sports community in the Montreal area.

The adapted bicycle pilot project, launched last summer in LaSalle, was a success and allowed us to stand out and put LaSalle on the map throughout Montreal! It is a source of great pride for our entire team!

I would like to extend my warmest thanks to the borough teams and BrunoVélo, who were involved and mobilized around the project, and above all to Councillor Daniela Romano, who initiated this inclusive project for LaSalle!

The council team is honored to receive this award for the inclusive adapted bicycle project in the borough of LaSalle. We will continue to work together to create an environment where everyone feels welcome and respected.
