On Monday, April 7, during her opening remarks at the April borough council meeting, the chief and mayor emphasized the importance of Sikh Heritage Month, an opportunity to highlight the richness and diversity of this community, which is an integral part of our social fabric.

“The richness of its diversity and the strong bonds we forge together. By celebrating Sikh Heritage Month, we pay tribute to the commitment, altruism, and solidarity that enrich our community and strengthen our cohesion.”

Through this initiative, the council wishes to pay tribute to the history, contributions, and values that have shaped our society.

Our political commitment is based on the inclusion and recognition of all cultures, because every community contributes to our common future.

As a TEAM, we are building a stronger, more united LaSalle that respects its diversity.
